Scott Shuford
Greenville FCA Area Director
Email: SShuford@fca.org
WHY FCA?
"I was initially drawn to FCA because it seemed like a place where I could be strengthened in my walk, both as a Christian and as an Athlete. As I became more and more involved with FCA in College, I began to experience the beautiful life-change that can happen when your teammates become fellow warriors in your adventure with Christ and not just partners on the field. I owe an enormous part of who I am today as a father, a husband, and a leader to the truths that I encountered through my time with FCA. I consider it an honor and a pleasure to be able to serve Greenville’s Coaches and Athletes by providing the same opportunity to grow in Christ, through FCA, that I had.”

Reid Bowyer
Coaches Ministry
Email: RBowyer@FCA.org
WHY FCA?
“I have been involved with FCA since 9th grade. It played a major role in my positive path in high school. As a sophomore in college, faith and football collided for me. The realization that Christ was not first in my life was difficult but the fact that the Lord could combine athletes and the Gospel was compelling to me. Sports and Ministry functioning together has always been a passion of mine, but it took 16 years for Jesus to prepare me and my family for that journey. I am excited to empower the coaches with the resources to experience transformed living in the office, on the field and at home. As the coach is transformed, lives under his influence will be transformed as well. The ministry that the Lord has blessed FCA with over the last 56 years is just the beginning. Join us and experience what God does in the upcoming days.”
